General Instructions

1. Exam Type: This is a remote proctored computer-based online exam.

2. Login Time: It is mandatory to log in at least 60 minutes before the exam's scheduled starting time.

3. Photo Requirements: Before starting the exam, you must take a photo as it appears on the screen. Additionally, take a clear photo of any valid ID card that bears your photograph and date of birth. Failure to provide these may result in not being allowed to start the exam.

4. Remote Proctoring: Throughout the exam duration, you will be monitored by a remote proctor who will ensure the integrity of the examination process.

5. Suspicious Behavior: If continuous suspicious behavior is detected, the proctor may pause your exam.

6. Dismissal: The remote proctor has the authority to dismiss you from the exam session for various reasons, including:

   • Taking help from others.

   • Wearing a bluetooth device.

   • Reading out loud.

   • Leaving the system during the exam.

   • Playing radio/TV/music in the background.

   • Allowing anyone else to enter the exam room.

   • Attempting to take the exam on behalf of someone else.

   • Possessing any unauthorized material that could aid in answering questions.

Exam Timing

• Duration: The SRMJEEE 2024 exam is 150 minutes (2.5 hours) long.

• Breaks: No breaks are permitted during the exam.

Pattern of Questions

For B.Tech:

• Total Questions: 125 questions.

• Sections: The exam is divided into five sections with the following weightage:

  • Part I: Physics - 35 questions (35 marks)

  • Part II: Chemistry - 35 questions (35 marks)

  • Part III: Mathematics/Biology - 40 questions (40 marks)

  • Part IV: English - 5 questions (5 marks)

  • Part V: Aptitude - 10 questions (10 marks)

• Scoring: Each correct answer earns 1 mark with no negative marking.

Slot Booking Process

Steps for Slot Booking:

2. Login: Enter your application number and date of birth (in DDMMYYYY format) to log in.

3. Select Exam Date and Time:

   • Choose your preferred exam date from the available options (June 18, 19, 21, 22, or 23).

   • Select your preferred time slot for each exam date.

4. Confirm Selection: Review your selected exam date and time slots carefully.

5. Download Admit Card: After confirming, download your admit card which will include details of your exam schedule.

Exam Information

• Language: All questions will appear in English.

• Section Selection: You can choose which section to answer first.

• Answering Format: Each question will have four answer options. Select the most appropriate option by clicking on the circle next to it.

• Navigation:

  • You can move to the next question by clicking "Next Question".

  • You can change your answer by clicking the "Clear Answer" button.

  • Once you move to the next question or section, you cannot return to a previous question.

• Question Status:

  • Answered questions are marked in green.

  • Unanswered questions are marked in blue.

  • Skipped questions remain in yellow.

• Completion: Click on "I Have Completed the Exam" button after 120 minutes to indicate you have finished. The exam will automatically close after 150 minutes.

• Review: You cannot review answered or skipped questions.

• Submission: Ensure to click "Submit" as a sign of completion.

• Exit Password: The exit password for the test is srmug.
